New York Fashion Week 2012

With New York Fashion week behind us I feel so inpired and ready to take on the fashion industry. New York fashion week is without a doubt the christmas holiday to fashionistas or the football grand final to football crazed fans. Its one of my favorite weeks of the year. And this year didnt dissappont me at all with hit shows like ElieTa Hari and DKNY, not to mention the up and coming designers such as Rebecca Taylor, and how could I forget the classics like Tommy Hilfigure and Cynthia Rawley. Ralf Lauren may have receieved keys to the city and one day I hope to be as luck and have keys to Brisbane city. Watching amazing and innovative designs strut down the run way, how could you not feel inspired! Ive learnt that tribal is going to be huge this season with Gwen Stefani's line L.A.M.B previewing everything tribal. Watching NYFW has only taught me to follow my dreams even more and never to give up I hope that through reading my blog and seeing the NYFW pics you will also feel the need to follow your dreams too all the while looking fabulous in fashions by me Camelia Carlton! Spring has sprung!

Well, it feels like spring has finally sprung in sunny Brisbane. We're still having some cool nights, but all in all - the days are simply gorgeous, and I think it's time to start bringing the Spring and Summer wardrobe back to life.

So, to make a simple and perfect start to the season I'm bringing back my Makeup Maxi. Teaming this gorgeous, comfortable and flattering dress with a blazer, flats, aviators and hobo bag - I'm ready to take on the coming season!

Garment details: Beautiful, long maxi dress in super stretch spandex with drawstring waist and elasticised band at bust. Frill feature at bust for modesty.
